Twice Found pieces at the Gardiner Museum

A few of my Canadian pottery pieces (Blue Mountain Pottery, Lorenzen, Laurentian Pottery, CCC) are included in a mini-exhibition presented by design firm Motherbrand as part of their exploration of  sampling in Canadian design. This mini-exhibition reveals how Canadian ceramic art has been enriched by the appropriation of formal and design elements from sources as diverse as Ukrainian textiles and First Nations ceremonial art. The show is on now in the lobby of the Gardiner Museum in Toronto (free admission) until February 5.
